Our Leadership Consists of The Board of Deacons and Trustees who handle the day to day operations of the Mount Hope Baptist Church. Our outreach programs are second to none when to comes to taking care of the membership at large. From serving communion to caring for the community our leadership going above and beyond to make sure our people are taken care of.  

Deacon Donald Thomas, by his own right, is one of the most powerful prolific men of God you will ever meat.  Comes with years of experience dealing with various life situations that one simple can give you encouragement with few words. His uncanny way to take the scripture and apply to your life will make you a better person just by hearing the word of God. 

When it comes to the best dressed, and Down to Earth people you can ever have a conversation with you can’t find someone more fitting than Deacon Bates.

Deacon BATES is a master carpenter and very well around it man that is an absolute joy to have on our Deacon board.  If you ever have a problem and no one else can help talk to Deacon BATES. He can give you a life perspective that is life-changing here at the Mount Hope Baptist Church.

Deacon Walter Weddington is one of the most studious men in Mount Hope Baptist Church. When it comes to Wise council, we turn to him for his years of life experience and knowledge. He supports our pastor in his vision, as well as takes care of the many needs here at our church. It would be to your benefit to have a conversation with Deacon Weddington from time to time because you never know what lessons you will learn or what wise advice may come from such an amazing man.
